Introduction

Welcome to the mythical world of Smithonia, an expanding dark fantasy universe and ecosystem, currently home to a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA), idle Mining game, and NFT collection within the Arbitrum network.

Smithonia is a dark fantasy hybrid game, merging Web2 and Web3 into a sprawling expanse that will continue to evolve and grow in the years to come. Smithonia is centered around dark, fantastical gameplay, stories, and interactions; all supported by Smithonia NFT collections and our unique, official $SGC token that acts as Smithonia's main in-game currency and active bridge to the larger Arbitrum ecosystem.

With our collection of weapon and pickaxe NFTs, as well as our upcoming Smithonian NFTs (characters) players will be able to explore the world, conquer innumerable foes, and battle amongst each other with weapons and characters belonging to them. These NFTs can be customized and upgraded through Smithonia’s extensive crafting system, or sold through our upcoming store for $SGC.

Despite the Web3 foundation of Smithonia, Web2 and free-to-play players are welcome to join their Web3 compatriots in exploring the wilds and wonders of Smithonia as the game merges the two internet spheres. Eventually, the goal is to merge Web2 and WEb3 elements so seemlessly, that the familiarity with Web3 is unnecessary to explore and interact with Smtihonia.
